I know people in the fandom are cheap bastards, but your time is worth more than what you're offering it at. Maybe offer discounts for promotion and purchase an ad banner?
Just because furries are notoriously bad at understanding how much art is actually worth outside the fandom doesn't mean you aren't entitled to a decent wage.
