And the best thing, I learn a few tricks for drawing on a tablet and using tools in photoshop. Here is a in progress shot of a picture [ http://i.imgur.com/nZSq6.jpg ] I'm working on (and I really need to show my vore-side some love.)
1. Don't use a white background to draw on. Most people working with a tablet can find the stark whiteness to be intimidating, so some artist perfer a brown or egg color drawing surface. For me, the brown surface fixes some of my problems with drawing and I can more easily have a scribble turn into a full picture.
2. Using a brush tool that simulates a pencil is also comforting. Its great for traditional artists to adapt toward a digital medium. I found this brush [ http://koifishsushi.deviantart.com/.....Brush-88678477 ] and it works amazingly.
3. SAI does lineart amazingly, as well as solid flats. I download the program and gonna give a go as soon as I finished the sketch. :3
The con was a blast though, it's always great to meet new people as well as the regular babyfurs. The fursuits are still amazing to watch as well. ^__^ However, furcons are still my little secret from the majority of my friends.
