Making friendships here can be very easy, even because breaking them is even more easier.
Lets make an example.
I meet someone, and everyone tells me that this person is a cruel psycho and that will use me for his/her purposes, I dont belive them because I am a good person. During this period me and this person have different argues, many many argues that made us feel very bad. Lets say that I am a very clingy person, and this one tends to disappear for weeks without saying crap. I, of course, feel bad for this, but okay every time we set it back to normal and speak again, and then the day after is all the same story: I hear nothing from this person, and I feel bad, again, and again, and again. Waiting to FEEL that I am important, like she/he says. While this person is nice and makes it worth their apologizes, I wish to buy for him/her a picture EVEN IF I AM JOBLESS AND I SAVE EVERY SINGLE PENNY FOR MYSELF. I try to make this one good, trying to find an artist, but, as always, THIS PERSON DISAPEARS. Its costant, its more the time we spend angry at each other than being happy.
Now, tell me: Why I should buy a expensive picture for this person, if he/she keeps ignoring me, and contact me just to bash me with sadness? Does he/she worth my love and my efforts?

Just let him crawl back to you.
But that maybe a whole diffrent story compared to simply not be online/around at all.
I think this is safe to rember: A good friendship costs you valueable time. As you spend your time in beeing together with the other person. If you spend alot good time into a person, often you develop a great friendship, if you spend little or no time at all on the other hand you kinda not get to a friendship at all.
So this descripted person sounds to me not beeing close to you at all. I would consider him as a person you just know, nothing more, and noting less.
That explained, may a small question: What is your oppinion about meeting new people? Is it a no no because of this experience you have there?
