Currently reading: Chemistry book for college... bla bla more interestingly tho ...
Unweaving The Rainbow, The Selfish Gene, Climbing Mount Improbable, and The Blind Watchmaker.
So far my favourite is Unweaving the Rainbow, the most interesting one is The Blind Watchmaker... Yes I know im a Dawkins fanboy shush its all very interesting.
I find it funny when he mentions things like: ...
"I am writing this on a computer with 64kB of RAM" or "Currently we can only fit a few hundred transistors in a human skull" because I understand these books were written before I was born but I just makes me chuckle when I think how far we have come from then and how revolutionary those ideas must have been for their time.
he makes me want to be a biologist unfortunately I'm set on electrical engineering now, maybe ill come back to it since i'm always up for a little biologically / evolutionary inspired design. The section on comparisons of radar and sonar technology during the world war to the humble bat rustled my jimmies.
side note should I draw anything ? no? ok well bye
