I just landed a job at a doggy daycare/boarding facility and I'm finishing up my first week there. It's SO much fun! I'm a dog wrangler/front office worker. It's an unusual kennel in that the dogs are free on a fenced in acreage that's like a private dog park. They sleep together cage-free in rooms instead of kennels as a pack (we do have some kennels for dogs that require/prefer it).

I'm there to supervise them. I get to play with tons of doggies ALL DAY and get totally filthy and slobbered on.

I've learned a couple things this week:

1.) I have a knack for putting dogs to sleep. When I sit down, my pack tends to sit down.

2.) I am a Golden Retriever magnet. I have no idea why, but golden retrievers are automatically obsessed with me. Wherever I am in the yard, they are there with me. I had 7 of them flopped down next to me yesterday.

If I wasn't a cougar, maybe I'd be a golden retriever?!
