It is... but for me this particular video just made me realise how.... fragyle our man made world is... I didn't expect for isntance, majre cities to dissapear in just under 200 or so years after being abandoned in perfect order. I mean that's bearly 2 and a half lifetimes.

I'm getting this desolating feeling ever sicne I watched it.

It is fragile because in it, everything is dynamic, all of it relies on constant maintenance. If we all disappear in a blink, that is mostly fantasy, if we as a species ever experience a near-extinction event, some of us will still remain, and like the rest of the animals, will thrive.

About the buildings and power plants... if everything sustains itself for 50 more years, perhaps the cities will run indefinitely, or for centuries, all powered by AI.
