I’ve been home for over a week now. All that driving took a lot out of me. I can believe I drove through a state every day while on the road. I probably wouldn’t have made it, if it weren’t for all the driving I endured for my last job. Then again, with Dad’s pain medication the equivalent of sandman sand, I’m glad someone was there to take over driving.
Thanks to my computer dying I got quite a bit behind with studio stuff while I was away, so I’ve spent a lot of time catching myself up to date and getting back to work with my PR duties. I did a little bit of reading and a little bit of writing while I was away – not as much as I’d have liked, but the time was well spent with Dad, so I kept my mind on brainstorming mode up until now.
Since returning home, I’ve gotten a bit more writing done, but it’s been hard to get a moment away from all the HTH Studios stuff. There’s so much going on right now. I’ll keep you guys updated on future story posts, but just as a warning, things are crazy here. But I’m getting back into the swing of things.
Realistically, this trip came at a very inconvenient time, considering the latest High Tail Hall update came less than a week after my departure. My laptop refusing to turn on since I got to L.A. didn’t help either. I won’t deny how wonderful an opportunity it was to visit my dad. I’d been missing him. So regardless of the timing, it all worked out in the end. Thankfully, I’ve started to feel like I’ve caught up or at least I’m not feeling so out of the loop anymore.
The work I did on stories is all hand written in my notebooks. It’s mostly full of my ramblings that I’ll have to sort out and translate to type, but I’m relieved to get a chance to work on stories again. I’ve plotted out the next four Bestiary stories, and I wrote a few haiku’s. As most of my regular readers know, I’m not much for poetry. I dabble every once in a while, but more often than not, poetry makes me feel out of my element. They’re not traditional Haiku; I mostly just used the 17 syllable pattern. I’ll post those at some point. The pictures will also follow tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for your patience over this past month. It’s been crazy, and it’s not over yet. Look for more journals, more stories, and tons of Livestreams over at http://www.hthstudios.com/index.php/livestream. This next update will open up the Library’s bookshelves where you’ll be able to access all my stories and more. There will also be lots of girls getting some new interactivity, which I’m sure is where your concern lies, but if you ever get a chance, go over and hang out my character and explore the zone. There are lots of plans to make it a fun area for you to enjoy, with a café sporting sexy baristas, lounge areas, and there might just be a few surprises if you poke around. ^^

Tyvara
