One cancelled flight, free hotel room, rebooked 5am flight and a layover in San Fran later and we are home! Feels good yo
As for an RF review? It was epic. So.. pretty standard :p
Rainfurrest is not an uncommonly well-run con (um what furry con is?) but what always makes it amazing is the USA-Canada connections. Seattle is almost directly halfways between where I live now and where I grew up, It is essentially, a central meeting point for all of my friends in Alberta and California and along the whole coast between. Seattle is gorgeous (and accessible) and the hotel/convention center is perfectly laid out. Seriously, never move this con.
Things I did (not inclusive):
Had a "omg so good to see everyone again! What are you up to?" dinner in the hotel restaurant (tenderist steak ever).
hot tub
sat by the fire
chatted
gossiped
fursuited
danced
Took the train downtown and ate amazing seafood (best salmon skewer ever)
Walked through Pike's Market (while it was open this time!)
Found a coffee shop that served hot cider!
danced
Bought some stuff in the Dealer's Den
Perused the Art Show
pizza party
danced
Took the shuttle to the mall
Ate at BJ's
3am 13 Coins food run
hot tub again
swam in the pool
Dead dog party
received hugs
Said goodbyes
Things I did not do:
Attend the parade in suit
attend any panels
ever have a bad time
ever have nothing to do
Also on a last note, we lost a necklace at some point in the hotel. It just disappeared and we have no idea exactly when or how or what happened. If you DO see anyone wearing it, please inform them we'd appreciate the return.
You can see it here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7634774/ Wooden beads with two real bobcat teeth and a pathtag as seen here: http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/pro.....pendants/metal
The necklace has no monetary value but is a rather sentimental piece as it was the first gift I ever gave my husband (then boyfriend) and he misses it
(yes we checked with con and hotel staff before we left)

I am glad ya'll made it home finally, I was reading on Twitter about the cancelled flights. x_x Gotta love being stuck at the airport for hours and hours.
Yeah the really shitty part of the plane fiasco was that just ONE hour before our plane was supposed to leave (but was ultimately cancelled), there was a flight to LA that went off without any issues XD And we were sitting there so even contemplated trying to get switched to it lol.
Yes Pike Place Market is a neat place to explore off season.
Maybe next year I'll have my camper done and I can fix you some salmon that will melt in your mouth... Hmmm A pot luck in the parking area?
