Less than honorable

So, I should be studying for my multiple tests occurring this week. But I'm not, as I have been helping people with their severe iron deficiency with a gusto.
I's been shankin' foos in Dishonored.
I always seem to forget exactly how much fun this style of gameplay is, as my normal fare is first person shooters and some real time strategy styles. Then along comes Batman, or Deus Ex HR, or Dishonored, and I'm reminded how much fun it is to be a glass cannon. Sure, you can't really take a huge amount of a beating, but picking them off one by one from the shadows is a huge force multiplier, and too much fun to boot.
The mechanics are excellent, and very open ended. Do you run in guns blazing, or go for the more quiet rout, and hide the bodies as you go? Do you help others around the city, or forget about them and focus on your job? Hack or steal? Show mercy, or be savage? Choices like that can make or break a game, and they make Dishonored into a fine game indeed.
Next week, I forsake school for some Borderlands 2. Watch as my GPA plummets.
