It's a big scary world out there

And I'm going in.
I am now a graduate with a BS in audio production, and a minor in computer science. Now on to the really scary part, finding a job.
Ideally I would like to work on sound for videogames, but I know that won't happen for a while. I have a pretty good amount of experience doing post-production work on things like advertisements, TV shows, ADR, and sound design. I also got to work on some on location live TV broadcasts as A1, for things like awards shows, baseball games, and small rock concerts.
I'm sending out resumes to my local TV stations, but I might as well ask in the non-obvious places too.
So, anyone know someone I can apply with, or need an audio engineer themselves?

Second, get an account on linked-in and start looking around for technical recruiters. Your field is a bit off the beaten path but I'd be willing to bet there are recruiters out there looking. I've gotten a ton of offers from Linkedin and as a professional it just really helps.
Dice, Monster, etc. Get your resume onto every single intertubes site out there.
Don't be afraid to pack yo' shit and move. People who insist on the perfect dream job in their home locale are, well... dreaming. I close with a link to Mike Rowe's (one of my personal heroes) thoughts on the matter:

Good luck.
