Why is it that whenever something decent--if not barely awesome--happens, it always has to be blown out of the water by something completely and instantly stressful/depressing?

And my mom literally just had me accept it just because I'm 17 now.
She doesn't really care about the thoughts or opinions of her own son relating to things like this.

Yes I understand rent is about $1200 per month. Yes I understand that utilities have been tripled due to third-party bills being stacked on us from the previous residents.

But seriously? RIGHT after my fucking birthday?

Shit like this has always happened to me, like...ALWAYS revolving around my birthday.

This means that I'll probably have to undergo ANOTHER hiatus just until we can get all of our stuff moved outto our new place.

If we have a new place.

This...this makes me feel like shit.
And I'm usually not the one to bitch and moan about life on a regular basis, mainly because I KNOW that there are millions of other people out there with even worse problems.

It's just...I feel like I'm fucking with everyone's money. I can't find not one day to just sit down and work on my commissions.

My mom is still pressing me out to get a job, yet she doesn't see the value in this, more than likely because I haven't gotten my debit card in the mail yet.

Maybe everyone was right.
Maybe I do have bad luck 24/7, and my birthday is the only day I can dwell in some form of sanity.
