A fire broke at the ShopKo Center in Green Bay, WI today at approximately 3:15pm local time, about an hour after the team left following practice. So far, police and fire officials have reported 1 fatality: Green Bay Tundra head coach and
fhl Hall of Famer Mitch "The Sledge" Hammer, who was found burnt to death in his chair in the coach's office.
Green Bay Fire Marshall Victor Bombero believes that coach Hammer may have started the blaze in his office, which spread to the team offices, locker rooms, media room and lower concourses before fire fighters could put it out. He reports that the arena can be repaired, but should remain closed to the public until it can.
The FCAA's Great Lakes Conference, who holds their annual basketball and ice hockey tournaments there, has announced that until the arena can be repaired, their tournaments will be re-located to the Stockyard Arena in Chicago, IL. Vulpes Fulva University, who hosts 2 regular-season basketball and hockey games at the ShopKo Center per year, has announced that those games will be played at their regular home, the EAA Pavilion in Oshkosh, WI. They have also invited the Tundra to play at that arena until the ShopKo Center can be used again.

FSPN and whatever serves this world for CNN is going to have to interview everybody, Maynard the ex-GM, myself as the ex-asst. GM and as captain of the team. I'm going to have to write about my own encounters with the press now.
And being an extraterrestrial critter with strong morals, you may not like what I have to say.
