ShopKo Center to re-open ahead of schedule

Last fall, the
's Green Bay Tundra had to relocate to St. Louis, MO mid-season when a fire broke out at the ShopKo Center, caused by their late coach Mitch Hammer. It was then estimated that the repairs would take until mid-June.
This morning, however, ShopKo Center chairman Mike Dorr (male bobcat) announced that with the combined efforts of contractors and volunteers, that the arena repairs are now complete a month ahead of schedule. In addition, an undisclosed bonus described as "lucrative" has been awarded to Lombardi Lumber out of Appleton, WI and Canoli Bros. Construction out of Rosemont, IL.
Two events have alredy been booked for Memorial Day weekend as well and according to Dorr, those who volunteered will be admitted free to both. The 1st will be this upcoming Saturday when the famous Gibtown Showmen basketball team takes on fellow independent team, the Rucker Park Rangers, then on Monday night, the Furry Wrestling Federation will be holding a special webcast-only show. Promoters of both events are planning to hold special ceremonies to thank the volunteers.
