A Partial in the Making and Possible Future Commissioning!

Hey guys! Phew...this semester has been busy busy busy, especially the past week or so!
Got myself a nasty upper respiratory infection that had me out of commission for longer than I had hoped and it got me a bit behind in my school work, and being a nurse that doesn't fly well (I honestly STILL think missing clinical is more important than getting the patients sick but...whatever...)
Despite all of the hectic craziness, things have been going REALLY well!
Been practicing for my back up dance position in ECUs Drag Show which is tomorrow, so I have dress rehearsal tonight. It's going to be SO FIERCE AND AMAZIIIING! (We've all practiced our asses off and I know Rogue is going to be stunning)
But before that on Monday I have clinical, which'll be interesting since I dyed my hair XD The front of it is a striking blonde now, and I'm not sure how my clinical instructor will handle that. I HOPE she'll just get the fuck over it, but I really haven't a clue. They're so unpredictable...honestly so many of the other students look so unnatural in the fact they tan like mad (and look like carrots), bleach their hair, and cake on make-up that it really shouldn't be an issue. But my instructors LOVE to single me out because I'm differen't...oh well. If they wanna fight me, go ahead. I'll just prove I'm just as good a nurse as any of those other girls who are supposedly better than me because they have 'the nurse look' (whatever the hell that is)
I also have this important assignment to do while I'm getting ready for the Drag Show and blah...just busy busy, that's what tomorrow will be
LETS HOPE THE CAFFEINE AND ADRENALINE KEEP ME ALIVE!
On a bit of a better note, I started making my partial! I started constructing the base of the head yesterday, and hope to have the base finished some time this week (time pending because of a lot of studying that needs to get done)
I ordered the fur I'll be needing and it should be here this week or next week
I started making my tail (a yarn tail to be exact. I really hope it starts coming out good. Haven't really started it so I don't know how it'll work out quite yet XD)
I have all of the materials...but I won't rush this. I can't if I want it to look as marvelous as I hope it to look! Only thing I really gotta work out is how I wanna get the eyes made, but I'll keep doing my research
Oh yeah, on to the commissions part
I'm really interested in starting to do art commissions. Nothing super fancy obviously since my talent isn't like, the most stunning thing in the world, but you request it and I will DEFINITELY give it my all. hell, maybe giving me a challenge will help better my talent and surprise you!
But I'm not sure if anyone would be interested. So I guess I'll just put it out there and see if I get any requests
The pricing will be pretty cheap right now since I'm new at commissioning and since I'm not super skilled, so take advantage of that while you can
And who knows, if I find I'm good at crafting, maybe I'll start commissioning other things, such as yarn tails or ears or something...but that's to ponder at a later time
Well...guess I'll stop yammering. This hyena has some cleaning and studying to do before he just doesn't do shit for the rest of the evening XD
