I think it's going to go a bit more than the 10 million that they predicted would lose power. Some places in Pennsylvania and New York will be taking a beating for another 48 hours before they can start to relax. I still have power, but the wind is starting to get really bad now. I'm more concerned that it will do some expensive damage to my house.

After I went to bed, hearing predictions that it would get much worse, the rain stopped and the wind dropped to almost nothing. It hasn't rained here all day, and there is just a light breeze. I know it is far from over, as the center of the storm is only 120 miles south and a bit east of me. The predicted path will bring it right over my city tonight. We just got lucky so far, and somehow missed all the destruction the smaller towns around me have been seeing.

Storm seems to be pulling away now and things are still fine. Still have power but haven't yet been out and about to see if there's any damage anywhere.

I hope you will keep on getting power. Please keep us informed!

Surprisingly I have power too....which is good cause the sump pump kept our basement water to a minimum....I think we only ended up getting maybe 4" at the highest point.

In my area the power went out very briefly but came back on.

I was taking with Andy Fox last night and we were wondering if you would be without power again. I guess you got lucky this time. Hope the storm hasn't done too much damage in your area. I was watching the news reports and they had a few shots of flooded areas in Maryland. Hope you and White Paw are doing fine.

We are both going good as of this morning. I am surprised, I had high winds here at times but never lost it. I am very happy and may take a trip outside later to survey for damage and get a lightbulb that popped the other evening.

Yay for you not losing power either, Scooter. There were definitely times when I thought my house in the Diamond would lose power, which I am thankful did not happen. I do extend my hopes and prayers for all of those who did lose power and/or had to evacuate because of the storm.
