Yes I did, think it was only once I got up there and was one of the quieter years.

Awww well you should meet up with him while your down there. I know meeting furs from up here always gets a smile on his face ^^

I might have seen you today. It looked like a very light grey, or possibly even a cream/light brown, squirrel this morning. I'm not good with mornings, and the light was shining from behind it, so it might have been a play on the lighting. Since the common squirrel here is the grey, this was a rare sighting. Hopefully I get a chance to see it again.

Oh, and there are supposedly a plethora of flying squirrels in the area of that resort. I was told they are friendly compared to ones you might find in the wild. Talk to the lifeguards/recreation or custodian staff about the tiny squirrels.

Probably not you as I saw it again Friday, but couldn't get a good picture before it scurried off into the trees. Since there are grey squirrels here, it appears to be leucistic to a certain extent. The grey pigment appears to be missing making it look brownish blond. Rather neat find, sad that it lives near a busy intersection. :(

Did you get to see the flying squirrels?

Sadly no, not one. Saw a bunch of regular squirrels, quite tame and if I had food I am sure would have eaten it right from my hands. Think the neatest squirrels I can remember seeing were the fox squirrels we saw in Carolinas when we had gone golfing. They were black and white and HUGE! Think that's what they were, they were pretty cool!

They are around the golf places here too. I believe they are protected.
