Ok...I have no idea what I want to do for a career so college right now is out of the question. 1) it is expensive and I already owe student loans. 2) I failed my last semester at it because I'm not the studying type.
Well the reason why I am mad is because I want to do something nice for my brother and father, so I asked my grandmother that I am staying with instead of her getting me something for christmas, was to put that money toward the my brother and fathers gift. Well...the total for 3 tickets to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra is $177 which I can't do on my own.
Anyway, she said I thought you were going to do an online class, that is what I would help with. I told her I have no idea what I even want to do anymore that NEEDS a stupid piece of paper saying I completed something to make it worth while.
Ugh...why is it that when I want to do something nice for a couple people that have been there for me that I get lectured on "college is important and you need it."
Honestly, every time I hear the "you need to do this or that for a better job" or anything about how "I didn't do my best in college (when I did) and need to do this and that" lectures it makes me just want to say fuck it all, save up some money, and just go somewhere brand new and not have to deal with this crap anymore.
I mean I do know that I need a better job but I can't do anything if they don't call me for an interview. For the college thing, I don't even know what I want to do anymore so why go? It would just be a waste of time and money.
Sorry about the rant thingy...it just makes me so angry when someone brings up one of those things that I KNOW well enough. What makes it worse though is that they bring it up EVERY flipping day like I forgot it all and need to be reminded on a daily basis...

*pats your back* Don't feel bad for ranting. We all have things that sit in our minds and just infuriate us. You need to get it out of your system if you want to make it through the day, even if what they're saying is true to some degree. Just do your best, and try to improve that best when it's a viable option. I do hope that things improve for you, though, and that you have a great Christmas regardless of the situation.
