1. I ate the last cookies you posted. I thought you made more by now. Yet still no white chocolate without being covered in coconut. Also. I guess it's obviously not something I LEARNED in the past 13 seconds, because I know you, but I still enjoy that you write entertaining journals... especially when they talk about me being awesome. (Lions, right?)

2. hahahaha.... you might be thinking this reddish brown for wolf. But the coloUr you remind me of, is definitely, white. For the.. well. obvious reason. 1. I found your actual age. which was interesting. I always forget everyone's age because it never matters to me, so I don't retain the information. But, it's not like I can tell anyway. I do admire how much art you've collected. I always want more, but I never really know what to get. I get creative on certain ideas, jokes, stories, but I just get a real blank when it comes to try to explain to an artist what kind of pose or picture I want. I much prefer to let them have complete artistic interpretation, let them have fun and experiment, or do something they want to, make them be artists rather than printers. To answer your #4 questions, I've got to reverse the order. I picked the name Simba as a nickname because of the lion king. It was 1994, I was skipping my classes to socialize on dial-up BBSes, using the handle (remember when we called screen names handles?) copycat, I forget the reasons behind copycat, it wasn't simply because I copy stuff.. maybe it was a furry-ish reference to piracy. I didn't know what furry fandom was yet, but I was identifying with cats more than most people. I saw TLK and felt touched inside, it was probably the same kind of feeling people describe when they talk about finding god, except it was finding something profound about myself.

I started hanging out on AOL when friends told me you could use completely bogus CC#s generated by various apps you could find on pirate BBSes, and AOL wouldn't notice until they tried to bill the card a month later. So I would use the name Simba##, and I'd increment the numerics each time I had to remake my account. I spent hundreds of hours a month chatting on AOL that way, before they offered flat rate billing. I met a bunch of cool people in this roleplay chatroom called Red Dragon Inn, where I was roleplaying an anthro (but feral) lion named Simba. It wasn't a very creative character, and was basically a ripoff of the film.

After a year or so, someone introduced me to TLK Muck, where everyone was roleplaying lion king characters. 'Simba' was taken already, so I made up another lion character. I played around on TLK Muck for some time, 6 months or something, then someone told me about "Furry Muck". Anthropomorphics, I said, what is that? Next thing I knew I was on FM writing a character description. During my time on AOL I would occasionally roleplay my lion character as anthro, before I knew what anthro was.. He'd stand on two legs and wield a sword, specifically so I could play this tic-tac-toeish chat game. So that was the character I described on FurryMuck. The name Simba was taken, so I tried Simba_Lion and that worked, it stuck ever since.

Right away I felt like I was missing something, I wanted this character to be mine, I didn't want people to associate me with disney films.. after a few weeks of soul searching, the answer came to me one day, and I re-wrote my description to include a pair of wings. Suddenly I felt complete, as if I'd given life to myself. A very difficult feeling to describe. The colored feathers happened later, initially as a reference to the Detroit Red Wings, but I also just really liked the idea, and I've been in love with myself ever since ;) in 16 years I've felt no desire to make any other character changes. I've thought about a new name once in awhile, but I really dont feel any other name would fit. And yeah, I know it translates to Lion Lion. I like Lion^2. ;)

#5, birds are creepy. I saw a bird eating another bird once, same species. I've also watched them playing in the air, 15 stories up, using the edge of a high-rise building as their 'rest' spot, during a sunrise. Take it for what you will. I often give artists a lot of freedom when commissioning.. once in awhile I have a pose or something in mind but usually not. I find I'm less likely to be disappointed if I dont specify too many details.

I really love the color of your mane. Blonde and Gold are not the same things, I agree.

Oh yes Arctic is a real sweetheart, got quite a few pictures from him, and hope to get a lot more in the future. he has a unique and interesting style for lions that I like. should be at least 4 or 5 pictures from him about me. I feel special I did see your picture from him in my 13*ish seconds of checking your FA.

What character did you have on the TLK muck?

and thank you very much. I love gold a lot, even if it's tacky or gaudy, but i HATE yellow/blonde (when it's on me. I just can't pull it off, other people with yellow and blonde do it much better) A little hint of that metallic sheen. When it's got that rich dark brown earthy gold tone. I love it. and it flows so well with my name already. Leon de Oro. It even gets a reference to a descendant of the Nemean lion, which fits my need to throw allusion and literary references in wherever I can.

Honestly, I can't remember what my lion's name was on TLK muck.

I've been hoping to get more art from Arctic, I love his lion style too, but I haven't been able to snag a commission spot when they've been available, and lately I'm too poor anyhow. :/

1. things I learned from your FA that I didn't know before. You like bloody roar. You like spicy food. There actually IS a point in time, when you're not streaming.
