Integrity

A stunning lack of integrity.
Wishing something is true because it fits your agenda is wrong.
Accepting a lie as the truth is wrong.
Passing the lie along to others claiming it is the truth is wrong.
"And you shall not bear false witness against your neighbor."
So why do you persist?

Simply because there is no valid justification for lying.

I have NEVER in my more-than-half-century of life seen such an orchestrated clusterfuck of lies as the last few months have brought us.
Sure, there are differences of opinion, everyone is entitled to theirs. Life, guns, religion (or the absence of same), gender, marriage, recreational chemicals, teams.
But math, numbers, signed filed documents, past deeds and performance, are what they are. Boldly saying otherwise, when anyone can look the subject up, boggles the mind.
Why would someone boldly and publicly lie, and then assume their ethics and morals are fit for the position they lust after?
