I probably need to kidnap you too and take you away for a drawing night with me and the Toy... Porn is not as easy as it seems.. Mostly I just draw pin ups... which reminds me, I have to get back to work on that.

Might I suggest to help inspire you, watch some porn or get a lingerie mag or catalogue to help inspire you... works for me, mostly, but then I am 5 years behind on my porn comic.

Well, to be honest, I find your cartoonist skills far more fun and enjoyable than most people's porn skills. While porn is fun for a quick divergence, it comes and goes faster than traffic outside my window. I really like the silly stuff some cartoonist can come with and a good laugh is well worth it.

Basically... Porn = Bite Sized cookie.. Tasty, easy to get, and great for the moment it lasts. Cartoons = Pastry shop, a great variety of treats to behold.

Honestly, I really adore sharp stylish artwork. There's no reason that toony should be bad for you. Fluent toony styling is definitely where I want to take my art.

oh it's not the style of artwork, I love doing cartoons, caricatures and comedy, I want to go further with it every single day.

but I do want to draw furry porn too, it's just my love of funny stuff is too much (I have pretty much dedicated my life to the art of comedy now, it's my biggest passion in life)
so whenever I have the time / opportunity to draw porn, my mind draws a blank because suddenly I have no ideas related to the subject and go back to drawing sill pictures.

So it's not even that you have trouble drawing outside of the style but more that you can't hold a concept?

I keep a pretty big folder full of pictures that are either great reference material or they inspire me. It makes it so if I am completely lost for a concept I can scan through it and look for something to work from. There's also the possibility to keep a list of ideas over time somewhere, pre-construct the concepts maybe? I've always foudn that I have more trouble with execution than having any porn to draw, in a way. There are still moments of "WHAT DO I DRAW!?" but I've also started participating in a daily sketch theme group and I do my best to make every sketch sexual or funny. Sometimes both. I think biggest hurdle like a lot of things in art is just making yourself try to do it as often as possible until you become fluent.

I really don't think that's a bad thing at all. People take art too seriously these days, and what you do is really unique, especially around a website like this where the majority seems to want to just get their fap on. I could certainly suggest things - I've considered commissioning you sometime, really - but I think your best bet is to just keep doing what you do. Don't try to make it sexy just for the sake of sex, but rather continue to make fun of it at the same time. If that makes any sense?
