Watched the classic movie "Rigoletto"
I seen a movie years ago when I was little called "Rigoletto." And it is an amazing and beautiful movie.
The story is very similar to "Beauty and the Beast" except its not a "beast" but a man with a disfigured face named "Ribaldi" who no one knows anything about. Many people begin loosing their homes due to the bank pulling them out for an unpaid mortgage and they believe he is responsible, partially due to the fact that he moved in the same day the troubles started.
There is another character named "Bonnie" and she is a young girl who loves to sing and has performed at the towns talent show each year, unfortunately something keeps holding her back from winning, but she has a good spirit and is gracious about the outcome, though the girl who wins each year is boastful, disrespectful and arrogant (to say the least.)
Soon Bonnie begins to work at Ribaldi's mansion to help her mom keep her home, simply cleaning the house every afternoon, but one day she hears beautiful singing coming from the room she was told not to enter, and soon she learns of Ribaldi's singing talent and he soon teaches her to sing as well, and along the way he changes and affects the lives of many people in the town.
This movie is stunning, it talks about how beauty is not of the skin but in the heart and it shows that a person ugly inside can become beautiful, and that looks do not determine whether one is a monster or a man.
The acting is a mix of good and bad but, that could also show how even if something is not attractive on the surface it can still reveal a beautiful thing inside. A few people are a little "meh" as actors but some like Joseph Paur (Ribaldi) are excellent at their role. This movie is stunning and beautiful and is definitely worth watching with your family and friends, it has some laughs and some sad moments and can even inspire.
