Swords and sorcery in a post-Steampunk, Neo-Victorian setting!
Now some have said it's not as Steampunkish as they'd like...
One of the problems with Steampunk these days is that it clobbers you over the head with the Steampunkiness. Gears on everything, dapper English attire or bits and pieces of it, smokestack backpacks (Burn your ass and back what good) and cogwheels the circumference of the Ventruvian Man everywhere!
Nah... then everything becomes just a characterture of itself. It starts to look like everything you've come to associate with Steampunk and therefor wanes in originality.
I won't tread on it, but let me just remind that it's *post* steampunk. Meaning it's a more modern society that evolved *from* steampunk.
Anyway... That's about it! Just reminding everyone to take a peek at the site ;)

S'why I'm writing a story meant to recapture that same feel of adventure and mystery, while still being true to the characters, showing how they react to the events around them. Lord knows where it will end up, but it should make for an exciting ride.
And yeah, I'm gunning for originality in my tale too. Narrative through aesthetic and surroundings can mean a *lot*...
As for the stuff like flying battleships well...I'm also big on magitek. Clark's Third Law...sorta.<_<
