well... I dont know if this works for everybody, but every time I make a new comic, it really helps to try something new to get the juices flowing, like adding somebody in, making a funny situation *See my comic for an example on that one* or thinking of a new area to do it all in. Start with something simpler though... like just making art of you and a friend, then work your way on to bigger projects. I warmed myself up again by making icons of my friends ^_^ so, for me at least, drawing others really helped me get into this again
