Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and So Forth

Whatever you guys celebrate this year, or if you don't celebrate anything at all, I hope tomorrow will be a wonderful day for you, filled with love and joy and the people you care for.
As for me, I get to spend tomorrow with my family where I'll have the pleasure of trying to pretend to be someone I'm not, and where I'm sure to get reminded of what a failure I am compared to my brother and my cousins. But what else is Christmas for, right? At least they'll feed me, and if there's anything my aunts and uncles are good at it's cooking.
On a much more cheerful note, Eliki and I have been dating for exactly one year today, and what an incredible year it has been. No matter what troubles came up he was always able to cheer me up and he is one of the sweetest, gentlest guys I've ever known. So here's to my darling kitty, and many more years to come. Eliki, you know I love you dearly and I can't thank you enough for all you've done for me. *Hugs tight*

A year already! Time really does fly, and it warms my heart that you two still are still giddy with each other! I saw the adorable picture Eliki uploaded earlier, and you two are the goofiest adorable couple I know!
And yes! I can hardly believe that it has been so long, myself. I've never been with anyone who makes me as happy as Eliki does, or who treated with me with such kindness and understanding. He really is a gem, and he spoils me to bits, too. I just love the picture he posted, and I think it fits us rather well. So thank you for all your kind words here, too.
I do understand living two lives myself. I did that for many years... As Kristine I'm shunned by most of my "family" but those that are my family love and care for me deeply....
I don't remember if you watch me or not but when my Dad past away last week he gave me a gift in the form of a dream in a context only I would understand. Any time I get down some little thing Dad and I had done comes to mind and it pushes my mood to the better. This is also happening to my step mom too... I have loved him in this world, I will know him in the next that is one thing I am sure of.
