Sarah took a sip of tea Meriam had made. She looked through window, while Meriam was decorating plate with cookies. "Here. My wonderfull cookies. You better eat them," said Meriam witha smile.
"Don't you worry, I never reject cookies," replied Sarah and ate two before she started explaining what might make the Pip Boy work.
"I have a faint idea of using solar energy, though I don't see how that's going to work at night."
"We could use alkaline batteries."
"If we did, then the whole solar energy we've collected would be spent on those batteries, and we would only be able to hold our physical appereance during night. And we can't survive the whole day without our bodies. We would perish."
"You said you had an idea."
"Yes. During the opening of the portals, the whole lot of spare energy is released, if we could somehow collect this energy, then we could last for three full nights and days at the least."
"And we could also collect solar energy in the meantime."
"Yes, but that still isn't what I'm getting at. You see, the limitless source of energy isn't just the sun, but the whole furry world. Basically, if we stayed there after picking up all the released energy, the energy of the furry world would be drawn to our Pip Boys like bees on flowers."
"That doesn't make sense at all."
"I know. I figured that most of law of physics don't really work in furry world. At least our laws. So don't try to give it any sense, you'll get confused even more."
"Oh, okay."
"There's a catch, though. First, I need to find a way to collect all that energy, and I'm not sure if all that energy is going to be drawn to our Pip Boys."
"Why would that energy even be drawn?"
"I think it has to do something with magnetic field, but I'm not really sure. Anyway, all my attempts haven't worked so far, but I still haven't run out of any ideas."
Sarah leaned back and for second, she stood still like she listened to someone. 'It's Daggerjaw,' thought Meriam. Sarah laughed. "Yeah, thanks, Dagger," she said. Meriam was right.
"So, you're still not sure how to do this?"
"I have an idea or two," said Sarah as Meriam escorted her to her door.
"Ar you sure you don't need any help?"
"You're way too clumsy."
"Yeah, I forgot about that." Two girls laughed.
"See you soon."
"Bye." Meriam closed the door as Sarah went out. She sat in her room, looking through the window, feeling lonely again, missing Saberwind.
She soon fell asleep. In a dark, terryfing nightmare.
Well, this is one of the worst journals yet. I had to move on with the story somehow, and I didn't have an idea.
