I worked it out roughly... comes out to over $300 in gas, there and back.

Probably woulda cost him half that to fly!

It cost twice that when I checked prices in January, and five times that wqhen I checked out of curiosity last week :P

I paid $75 to fly all the way down the east coast and back the last time I flew. Sounds like you traveled less than half that far.

Well, I tried searching under the assumption that you came from somewhere around Rockland, ME, since you said you passed through Boston, and that's the only way I can figure the trip took 19 hours, and I found one flight approximately the right time of the weekl for $301. Can't tell you how much it would have cost a week ago of course.

It pays to try lots of different dates though when looking for the best price. And different local airports as well. Rockland is significantly cheaper than Bar Harbor for example. And flying into Cleveland Ohio is was suggested by the site as being cheaper than Pittsburgh.

Bah, must have missed you, I spent almost four days in the vore party room just hanging out and chatting folks up, oh well. Only thing I did at the con was take 1200 pictures of the fursuit parade, as per usual.
