Finally, we will be together!

Well, a few days ago, 
gave me the news that his transfer to BWI went through and that at the end of the month he will be up in Maryland with me. While Maryland isn't the place we want to be by far, it is a great start at us being together finally and I am beyond excited and ready for this! He will move into my small loft apartment, I am just hoping there is enough living space for us with everything. Despite any drawbacks on space and all, we will make things work! Also, it looks as if his schedule up here will be a bit better. No going to bed at 7:30 or getting up at 3AM, his shift is afternoon. Sadly, he works weekends, but I would easily take the better hours over that any day. We will actually get to have a bit of a life together after work and such. I am sure it will be fun bringing all his stuff up here, will have to get another storage unit and then work on condensing I think.
We both still really despise the area and would like to move to a more liberal area with better weather and less congestion. Will maybe be looking somewhere in PA perhaps soon. oh well, that's for down the line, now I am happily preparing for him to be up here! Hopefully we can find the ability to both be happy here for the meantime (despite his despise for this state) and further our relation!

And if there's not enough space then you can just tell Soft Paws Otter that he needs to go get his own place.
Careful though--he'll fill your place with fancy craft beers! Better practice cooking those fancy fish dishes for him! And what will the rest of your squirrel family living in that tree outside think?? Ottery smell will confuse them!
My wife and I spent a lot of time doing the whole "long distance relationship" thing and it sucked each time we had to. However, we are now together all the time and working to build the best of lives together with our son. With any luck, time will do nice things for you and your special someone so that you can get where you want to be while appreciating each other ore-and-more.
*Giggles* Move to PA, eh? Ever think of Harrisburg? It's a great place as you get all the benefits of a big city without the big city feel. ;)
