A Change of Colour
One of the differences in my art style over the last month or two, is that I've started to use a lot more coloured shading layers instead of pure monochrome. As a test, I figured I would take a picture of mine from the middle of last year, that I was never really quite happy with, and see if I could make it look better, by ONLY changing blend modes, and balancing colours.
I've taken a few other things out of the picture where things looked too forced in the original. Anyway! What do you guys think? Does the vibrant coloured version look all around better? or is it too much? I'm curious as to what people's thoughts are, as its been a big change in my art style in the last few pictures.

It does pop out more than the other one though and I like how the hair looks more detailed and not washed out by the white highlight.
the colours seem more alive and really look better on my moniter, it brings more "ummph" to an already awesome piece of art
