Knowing you more would help a lot to give you good ideas, but still, I listed here few things I would do if I still had holiday and didn't have to care about anything:

[with friends]

[city]: go to pay bowling; pool; texas hold 'em
play paintball;
go to cinema
go to amusement park; ride gokarts
[country]: go cycling; downhill cycling;
rock climbing
playing football

Im kinda picky sometimes x3 ~ bowling and pool are fine, but I find card games generally too repetitive and boring. Cinema and paintball cost really much, plus I aing going to an amusement park at winter! XD Cycling only when neccessary. Otherwise boring. Rock climbing could be interesting. Football is the most horrible sport in the universe, along with baseball! xP

No one can love doing everything (except me, maybe)
For cinema and paintball there should be a group discount (at least there is where I live), and they wouldn't be that expensive that way.
There is a really really difficult and complex card game called "ulti", which you can play with hungarian cards, and my dad didn't even dare to try telling me the rules. xD
And there are also strategical card games (like Yu-Gi-Oh! for example), but that's also not a cheap hobby, especially if you have to discard 2/3 the cards you've bought to build yourself an usable deck.
Instead of amusement park, I'd likely go skiing/snowboarding then, altough it's also not a cheap sport. Luckily my dad loved always to go skiing, and brought me always with him. But this depends if there are mountains in your nearby.
Nah, I was thinking similarly when I was a little kid and couldn't even kick the ball, but the more I played together with my friends, the better I got, and the more I loved it.

I can say that Yu-Gi-Oh is a expensive, but brilliant game, along with MtG! And no, I will never warm to football myself. xD

I've never heard about MtG, but if it's like Yu-Gi-Oh!, it has to be good...

Its Magic the Gathering, from the same company who made Yu-gi-oh. Its basicly more harder and advanced version of it :3
