Sometimes I really think people need to take classes on reading comprehension and appropriate social behavior.

Some how I doubt it is anyone who actually reads your journals that does it. For those of us who read your journals all this screaming at us (heavy use of caps with a clear intentional use) is rather jarring and off putting.

It's hardly screaming at you, i'd be sick of it too if I were Icee.

I really don't see why it would matter

It shouldn't matter why when I am asking people to refrain from it... but to humor you, I will explain.

I have two separate friends who have both had the issue of people using images of their characters for online RP. In both situations, the friends attended conventions and both were forcibly kissed by people who saw the artwork of the character and thought it was the person they were in RP relationships with. I do not want to be in a similar situation myself and this is why I do not allow images of Icee anywhere aside from where I have approved them to be.

Facebook is the worst of these websites. People on Facebook seem to take images from one another by sharing or by downloading/reuploading and when they do that the credit gets lost. I have had so many situations where I have run across people pretending to be Icee on Facebook or claiming rights over her.... and then we get in tricky situations where other people start drawing her because they are mislead into thinking that person is the rightful owner of her. I actually came across one account where someone had been getting art of MY character with their boyfriend's character because people believed that this girl actually had rights over her. And when people start to draw my character in situations and with people I do not approve of and start to change her for their own likes and needs, it's really hard for me to sit back and just let this happen to MY character.

I'm tired of dealing with it. I tried letting it slide with people giving credit but for every one person that gave credit, 10 other people took the images and did not. Facebook has been the WORST with this and so I have decided to not allow it at all.

I hope you see why it matters to me. And if you don't, that's fine. We are all entitled to feel differently. What should matter is honoring my request whether you agree with my reasoning or not.

Yeah :C I have a hard time understanding why people behave like this too but I think it's part of these generations suffering from entitlement issues... "I FOUND IT THEREFORE ITS MINE TO USE." I actually have had people try to pull that reasoning with me. "If you didn't want people to use her, why do you post pictures of her at all?" -___- REALLY?!

Might have to get to the point where watermarking might have to occur. Its the only real way to stop this unfortunately.

I was watermarking... and was even finding images with "DO NOT POST TO FACEBOOK" stolen on Facebook ~___~
