Hey Guys -
So I wanted to address a "problem" I've been having the past week or so...
Lately many of you have decided to note me to ask me about my day or how I am doing or to talk to me about how you feel regarding the things going on with my character theft situation. While I love talking to my fans, I have to ask for you guys to please stop noting me to hold casual conversations.
I primarily use notes to communicate with artists about commissions or take care of character theft situations and prefer my inbox not to be cluttered with small talk conversations that can be held via comments, shout or messenger so I can use the note system to address the more important things.
"So, Icee," you ask, "What if I want to ask about your day or get to know you better or tell you how I feel about something?"
WELL.
Here are some options for places I find small talk more appropriate:
Leave me a shout!
If you don't have a whole lot to say but just want to say hi and find out how my day is going, a shout is perfect for this!
Drop me a comment!
If you want to share your opinion about something I've posted on and don't mind it being read by others, a comment on the relevant journal/submission is great! If you'd prefer it be kept private, look at the other options listed below.
Come say hi on SL!
My SL username is posted on my page. I don't mind at all when people come talk to me on SL to say hi! I'm usually on in the evenings hanging out with friends so please feel free to look me up there to have casual conversations! I may not always be the fastest on responses and sometimes go AFK or am tabbed out but I do my best to respond to everyone when I am able!
Ask me about my Skype!
If the above options are not floating your boat, I DO have a Skype and you are free to send me a note to ask for it so you may talk to me there. That being said, I do have a couple of things I will ask you to respect when messaging me on Skype, the biggest being to please respect my skype status.
If none of these options are available to you, we can discuss other ways to contact me but please help me keep my inbox here tidy!
Also - if you have been guilty of this, there is no need to apologize! You had no idea and up until now, I wasn't very clear about how I felt about this. Now that you know, I have no qualms continuing the conversation via one of the more appropriate methods listed above!
