New year ain't going too bad. Could be better, but hey, I have a new house to live in and the holidays are over. No complaints there.
Mostly I've been dealing with something akin to a really severe case of ADD. Nobody knows exactly why I've got this. Lost my previous job 'cause I can't keep the simplest directions straight or concentrate. I'm starting a new job on Monday, and I'm hoping like hell I can kind of sort of absorb some of my training. I didn't have ADD growing up (at least...I don't think I did), but now I understand what PITA it is. I have a new understanding of what you ADHD and ADD sufferers go through now. I feel like a ferret in a room full of shiny objects!
I've also been fretting a good deal about my brother, because they found a mass on his liver. His oncologist isn't saying the "C" word, but she thinks it's something to do with hepatitis he had in the past scarring up. Still not good, but more survivable than liver cancer for certain. *shudders*
I've been arting on and off when I can sit still long enough to do something. The upside to the ferret-brain thing is I'm actually getting inspired to do some stuff. I need to work on uploading pictures, which I should be doing here within the next few days.
I also finished a badge for http://www.biggestlittlefurcon.org/ Several artists contributed their work for these badges for con patrons, so you can choose your reg badge design! Pretty cool, hunh? I won't be able to go to the con myself, but you can wear a little bit of me around with you!
