im sorry, its hard to lose someone you love but from the looks of the other journal you posted, he doesnt hold you up high enough to change himself to be worthy of you. please do not go back with him, most people who are as you described dont change in positive ways, they let their bad influences take over and become worse. you shouldnt live your life having to watch him destroy himself and chose other things over you, you made the right choice, you want to live a healthy and clean lifestyle and you deserve someone else who can live one with you, and someday you will find one.

right now is your time, to heal and grow from this, so hang out with your friends, dive deeper into your art, go get your hair and nails done, go shopping, try something new, do something youve always wanted to do, take good risks, go to a concert or a club and lose yourself in crowd or on the dance floor, dont let yourself dwell on what could have been, try to be positive and holds your head up high.

It takes time, 3 years and I'm still not entirely over my ex.. haven't really had a relationship that made it past 2 weeks/1 month sense 2011 I'm still healing from my ex.. I'm still under the impression I probably won't move on.. feels like I lost apart of myself when him and I broke up, I've had many boyfriends (a few girlfriends) nothings the same, I try to make it work, get dumped then after awhile I'm like 'meh' at some point I just kinda stopped caring and all though I crave being with my ex again, he hates me so much he paid me 65$ to never fucken talk to him again. So I was like 'alright' and my birthday passed and all I wanted to know was why he hated me that much but I've decided to just give up.. even if I am over him on the outside and am ready to move on and be happy with other people, I've been happy with other people but it's just not the same.. it takes time, unfortunately much longer for me, so I hope it's not as long with you. My life has improved... gotten better, I've been happier, but there's a void where he still stands and don't think I'll fill it, I think I'll probably be alone for a long time but that thought no longer scares me/makes me unhappy it just means it's not my time...
