Hello there *waves*
I've been away for about 2 years but I guess I'm here again and doing more than just drop in and fav some then go again.
Why I left (and wanted to even delet this account) was mostly out of personal reasons which I don't feel like delving in too much. Part of it was however that I felt uncomfortable in the TMNT fandom. That is why I deleted all my previous submissions, too. Most of you know that I have deleted my DeviantArt accounts as well all of a sudden without any beforehand notifications. Again, it was because of personal reasons (my life was a horriblemess with no hope to fix it and a family death, too) but also had a little part of feeling caged up: labeled as "turtle artist" which I didn't seem to get out of. Of course it's no wonder after the amount of fanart I'd created so I don'T blame people for that. But yeah it was just one more reason on top of others.
About half year later I created a new DA gallery but only posting my original arts there. If you are interested in my art besides turtles feel free to follow there: http://pagodacomics.deviantart.com/
Why am I back now and even with some old turtles?
Because I've dealt with my issues about the fandom and the fanarts in general by now and some practical things, too. Like there are some artists I like who are only aviable on FA and since I couldn't delete my account and abandoning and creating a new one seems like..dunno "watse" (or how to say). I either clean up my "scraps" or recycle it. Since cleaning up wasn't an option I recycle it now.
Even though the name "RaaSet" is associated with turtles (and naughty), I decided to use this acount anyway.
I also had a prejudice that regarded FA in general. I thought it is a "porn site" because of the amount of mature art I've seen here. But throughout the years I've been watching people it became clear that it is not like an expectation and there are many people have simply furry characters and absolutely no mature content, so it really is only up to the artist. It made me feel better about the site. =)
What will I post then?
Mostly furry characters of course. I decided to put up some of the old TMNT arts that I like, especially those what are related to my Monogatari (samurai) AU. I don't draw turtles lately, unless it's a commission. Since I have no problem with them I gladly work on them (yepp, still like them ^^)

But f you only followed me because of my TMNT arts then you should consider to unwatch this account because the majority of pictures will focus on my original stories. It's mostly Japanese themed stuff and full of bakenekos and other demons, yaaay~
All in all if you would like to see more turtles from me, feel free to commission me but don't expect too much of TMNT otherwise or you get disapointed.

Sorry if I disapointed you with this journal, but I have to say I'm glad to be back and with renewed energy. =)

I love your tmnt art and your original!!! I cannot wait to see more of your characters!!!
And I know how you feel about the fandom... I think turtles is the meanest fandom I have ever been ... In?
I cannot stop drawing turtles, and I will not because they make me happy :)
I just try to avoid the whole community as much as possible ^_^;

Sure I liked Naruto, and Dragon Ball previously enough to do fanarts and talk to people in forums but not to this extent XD;
Anyway, I'm really sorry to hear you have negative experience then... =(
Yes, drawing turtles made me extremely happy too (and in the worst time of my life they kinda... how to say.. well it was like shelter to do my AUs with them). But my originals now make me even much more happier, that is why I don't draw turtles. I simply don't have enough time while I cannot even draw mah characters as much as I want. =(

Luckily I didn't have such agressive people to attack me, only one time. That person was very a hostile dumbass I have to say, even attacked people on my page. =/
Tried to reason with them for a looong note-exchange but in the end I had to ban them. First person I ever banned XD;
There was a funny person, maybe you heard of them: SaitoNetwork. Now that person was really... "funny". They hold a grudge against t-cest and was trying to invade the whole t-cest fandom. But in the end even the ones who agreed him turned against him because of his idiotism and bling agressive ridiculous ways. XD;
He used to blame me for "converting people top the dark side" with "seemingly innocent" pictures, maaan, it was priceless. XDDDDDD
Many people thought maybe he was the reason why I left but in fact, if anything, he just made me wanna stick longer just to oppose and mess with him. XD
What do you think you can't draw more things? How come you "can't"? o.O
For me it seems you have a decent start. Or do you mean that other things doesn't inspire you, don't come easy?
