Sorry I just need to post this x.x
I never get any pageviews or anything.. and I'm trying to submit regularly...
It's really hard when you don't have any commissioners.. and when I do, I'm busy...
I have one more commission to finish and then I'm going to try my hand at making plush toys.
I'm also a little upset because no matter how much effort I put into a piece of work, I don't get squat in return... hell even my commissioners don't cherish the work I do for them..
They don't post the artwork that I've done for them on their facebook or on the FA or DA.. and rant and rave about it like they do with every other piece of artwork they commission..
It's just not fair x.x
It's also summer here in Australia and it's very hard to do any work in Australian Summer heat... without my computer getting too hot (I usually use my laptop these days now... until it cools down).
Another issue I'm having is the motivation to actually draw my own personal artwork.. I'm unemployed and have been for about 6 months now.. It's really hard to feel positive about all this "free time" I have when I can't even land a job.. I want to work... I need to work, I live alone.. without my parents and they won't help me financially.. and I don't like owing people money anyway..
It's really hard for me at the moment and I just can't seem to get out of this rut I'm in.. and I can't seem to land a job... and I don't get any pageviews.. favourites.. comments.. no matter how hard I try and no matter how much I try to comment on other work or thank people for liking my stuff... it just doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere =/

You're welcome to come over for an art session, we can either learn a thing or two or just have a fun day doing it. Either way, don't be stuck in a rut about it.

It takes a while but you'll get there, my suggestion would be stop taking commissions for a while if there is no demand stop supply until there IS a demand. Hell maybe take it toward the plushies, there is never enough plushie makers while artists are dime a dollar (why else do we work for below minimum wage?) Art is a skill not a talent. Talents you get over night, skills you work your ass off for.
as for the over heating make sure you fan is uncovered, if its on a desk use a book or two to allow air flow under nether, and set up a large fan to fan your fan and your face while you work.
remember: there will never be enough watchers, comments, pageviews, views or fav in the WORLD that will make you happy so focus on something that will
