Not going to FWA this year

As the title says, not going to be able to make it this year. Basically it's due to having switch companies due to the re-compete being awarded to another company. Luckily I will still have a job, just all vacation that was built up is gone. Hopefully AC plans can still hold which I think they should. Would be really upset if I couldn't make that. Guess we will just have to see.

I have had success at similar situations when I told them I've already had plans and paid for tickets for [thing] and been able to take the time as unpaid time off.
