I'm glad that you like me. But I know that my bee sting art has no place in it.

I don't hate your art, in fact I have a similar interest myself. I've had a few intolerant people get in my way as well, of course when they leave their comments I either block them if I don't feel like dealing with it, or troll them should I need something to laugh at in that moment.

I guess my best defense is to try to ignore it if I can.

It IS really strange that your fetish is getting slammed! There is some REALLY weird (and occasionally disgusting) stuff out there, that apparently people get off on, and your bee sting fetish seems very "light" compared to that stuff. You shouldn't let it discourage you though! Even if I didn't like the fetish, your art itself is good enough. But I do like the fetish so it's no problem for me! Keep your chin up!

IMO your art is good. Haters gonna hate whatever you do so just be strong and ignore them instead of letting them make you retire.

I never have put much stock in the opinions of imageboarders. They're good for an occasional chuckle, but I've not seen many I would want to know for very long. That being said, I always find the intolerance from this community amazing, considering we're all a kind of outcast to begin with. It used to be a very differnet story almost 17 years ago when I got into this subculture. You'd run into someone in a chatroom with similar interests and even if they were into very weird and borderline disturbing things, you'd still feel a bit of kinship. Things are different, but keep the faith. I never expected vore to catch on like it did, but if you throw youself out there often enough, you'll find people with similar interests.

In a way, I actually have. There are a collect few that like what I do. The number is small, but if they are like me, I don't feel so alone.

Well, apart from posting inflation art on inflatechan, I never really post any fetish stuff outside of dA/FA.
But yeah, here and there my stuff gets posted on other places by others. And, strangely, they seem to take my art very well. So I don't really know why this doesn't apply to you. D:
But I guess that many people are afraid of bees and don't fully see the appeal in it. Even when your stuff is funny. I guess they connect bee stings to negative experiences.

Anyway, as long as you enjoy drawing it, and as long as others enjoy your drawings it's always worth it, until your regular art is far more popular than this. For example, some of the non fetish stuff I post on my non fetish account has ten times as many favourites than my flattening /inflation drawings.
So I'm probably going to take a break from fetish work. But I don't think I will ever fully retire.

And I can relate with this kink of yours. I don't see why people find it disgusting or weird. Like bbbuuu said, there's other things that people do that are WAY more disgusting and revolting that this, and they get accepted.

The idea of someone being made to feel worthless by what people say on image boards is heartbreaking! Please don't let that happen. If anything, get away from the image boards, and stick to places where people have a sense of perspective. I'm baffled you've even been catching heat over such a playful interest as yours, but I shouldn't be surprised. People probably see you having fun and, lacking a sense of humor of their own, they go on the attack. It's been said that puritanism is the fear that somewhere, someone is happy. Oddly, sex fetishists can be some of the most puritanical people of them all, lashing out at anyone who isn't doing things in a way they approve of.

I think it's ironic that they're criticizing you for drawing characters getting stung in the rear, and it's those very critics who are acting like they have a bee up their butt.

I say, leave them to squirm and complain on their own, and don't give them the benefit of your attention or your presence. Just keep stinging them where it counts, by doing your creative work being happy.
