2 weeks ago i was talking to our local butcher as we chat to her when we buy our food, since i moved here we have gotten to know them, so anyway chookie was keeping a ear out for any job openings as i have had trouble finding any, she mentioned the liquor store had recently sacked a employee as he didnt show up for 4 days in a row, so i put my resume in and applied a application for interest form for that store and to my surprise i got a phone call last friday asking could i come in for a interview

during the call i was asked if i had a rsa certificate which would be required for the job,i had already looked up what this was and figure it would be easy enough to obtain, she said if i got that today she would come in for a interview tomorrow (last saturday), so i spent a few hours doing a training course online and got my certificate no issues

so when saturday rolled around i was early for the interview which was over within 15 mins and i was fairly sure i did well, so i got home and started chatting to sanguine on the phone and ended the call as i had something else to do, then i get a text from him to say call him back, when he picked up he said that they had called him as i have him as a referee on my resume, so a good word was put in for me (Thanks Sangy) then i see a 101 message come up on my phone, so quickly ended the call and checked my message to say i was successful with the interview

sooo yea i have a job now ^-^

been waiting out this week to hear when my shifts start and i got that call this morning, so i start my training tomorrow, there is a slight catch to this job, i will be going to and from 2 different stores as im only a casual, the closest to me is just down the road about 10 mins walking distance, the other is a short bus ride away which i will have to test out what time it will get me there

very excited to start this job and hope i do well at it
