Don't get the new Simcity. EA has continued its trend of being a money hungry company that does not care about its customers. I remember playing the older Simcity games and having fun with them, you know, building your city up, then tearing it down with all kinds of disasters. But there's a few problems with this new game, #1. It needs a constant internet connection even for SINGLE player. #2. There are no save files. #3. The city limits are so small you are basically building a town rather than an expansive city like in previous games. #4. EA wants to implement micro-transactions in the game so you can always be up to date with the updates. Yes, EA's famous way of strangling you for all the cash that you have is back yet again.

Overall does it look like a good game? Yes it LOOKS like a good game, but that's about it, once you hear about what's going to take place in the game, well let's just say this is EA doing what EA does best, taking a series, running it into the ground, taking the remaining bits of hopefulness that the game can be somewhat bearable, and shoving them down our throats. I strongly urge anyone who was thinking of trying this game to move past this game.

EA has a very unique way of making sure their customers are unhappy with them. Such games as Mass Effect 3 and Madden 13, sure they are two completely different games in every way. But EA managed to do the same to those two games as they're now doing with Simcity. They've become overly simplistic, streamlined games.

Which is why I'm glad I preordered Destiny, a game by Bungie produced by Activision, with EA nowhere in sight of the game. So I already know this game will be great. Maybe I'm talking out of hate for EA, maybe what I'm saying is true. But I can not sit by and watch EA continue to produce shit games and get the money they don't deserve. I know with Mass Effect 3, that was the last EA game I will ever buy. And I strongly urge you all to do the same, because the only way a company like EA will listen, is if you affect their wallets. They lose money on the shit they shove out the door and heave upon us like we are mere peasants and they are the holy king of the world. They MIGHT actually change for the better. If anything, we can continue to not buy their garbage, and soon, with enough people on our side not pandering to EA, they could even go out of business. Trust me guys, dark days are ahead with all these other companies going out of business and EA is there to swoop in and gobble up any franchise they can get their money grubbing hands on.

Now that THQ went under, there have been talks of EA taking over the WWE game series, as well as their UFC series EA already makes. And the problem with it is no one wants to go up against EA in a game series, so there won't be another company making a WWE game, or UFC, or Football. EA has the market wrapped around its finger and the knot is so tight that the finger tip is losing all blood flow.

Anyway that's my rant for now, as my parting words I will say this, Fuck you EA.
