I did try hooves but it just looked like I cut off there feets lol!They was all stumpy.... hmmmm I'll play with hoof designs tonight. Thank you very much for your input. ^8^

I would look for anthro horses on here and get an idea of how they would look.

But WHAT exactly do I need to change? Is it everything? What is the focus point on where I need to improve please?

Your good with the heads. It's jus the chest,arms,legs,hands,and feet.

I think one thing that throws me with the way you draw anthros is you're trying to blend two styles that seem kind of incompatible. The show MLP FIM uses Flash to animate everything, the characters are highly stylized and they use proportions that really make no sense if you were to try and make them into anthropomorphs. There are very few artists who blend the style well, and primarily it's because they stylize things in a similar manner, simplifying the anatomy and using very CLEAN lines. One artist that ocmes to mind is the guy/gal who draws Peaches and Cream. Another way that people do these things is by abandoning the stylized elements of the MLP show and reinterpreing the character using their own style but landmarks from the show that would make sure you know who they are. A good example would be this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7078804/ They have their landmarks (crazy hair, same color eyes and cheeky expressions) but they're very DISTINCTIVELY not MLP style.

Some of your more successful pieces I find going through your gallery are the ones where you're not drawing MLP at all, but your own furry characters. :) They don't ATTEMPT to make the character recognizable to anything but your own work. Your "voice" so to speak comes out loudest when you're not drawing another's characters.

If you want tips on how to make your animal-people more "animal people" blendy, I'd suggest checking out Faint's work. He loves drawing muscles and he does a really awesome blend of human and animal features.

How right you are! But after looking at my newest peices I admit.... something is missing. I believe an artist always has room for improvement and finding ew styles can be fun and challenging so I welcome it. *Hugs* Thanks for your awesome comment though it really made me smile!

I haven't seen anything else besides what I saw on your own shoes, plus the one of you being an Uncle and what now I don't find those disturbing. I liked them. IDK who is finding them disturbing but we all have our own styles of art drawing.

I agree that we all see art differently and some people probably will NEVER like my art and that's ok too. I like what I draw but I also would ike to be better.

You can't make folks like what you draw, as long as your happy with it that's all should matter. Bu if you wanna improve your art skills then best of luck to ya.
