Furnal Equinox Day 01 - 09/03/13

Well, ladies and gentlfurs, the first day of my FE experience has come and gone, and I must say, I'm really blown away by the size difference compared to some of the past con's I've been to.
Having only be to AC and even at MWFF, the size of FE is rather small, but there is a mystical beauty about its smaller size. Fur one thing, its much easier to meet new people and continue to meet the same people throughout the con as the venue is smaller than some of the larger con's I've been to. Its also a tad homier considering there seems to be so much packed into a smaller space (taking up one hotel floor rather than a whole convention center). I also have ti say that finding peeps closer to me was a partial success as I've recently run into two furs that live close to where I am, which makes me squeal with glee.
I even got a commission done there too (partially help break a 20 I had on me for bus fare) and I must say it was quiet well done (will post it after I get more tomorrow).
Right off the bat I had made a new friend too,
xXxSheilaxXx who I've also been drawing a picture for, was very kind enough to invite me over for a quick sit-down in his room before I took my leave.
Anyway, Saturday is going to be crazy and I really hope to have a bang of a time when I go.
