A mobile quarterback that has a good arm is a dangerous weapon; he can move the pocket and take off when things break down. But I think that the tried-and-true pocket passer still has the advantage in that he can get the ball downfield and with better accuracy than most mobile QBs.

However, both a mobile QB and pocket passer need a top-notch offensive line. If the mobile threat is constantly running for his life or if the pocket passer is getting killed every time he goes back, then that should be a cause for alarm and more of a priority than the QB. Quarterbacks may have the game in their hands, but I feel like the offensive linemen are just as, if not more important than the QB.

I think a mobile QB makes up for an average offensive line by buying extra time to make the play. And giving the linebackers one more thing to think about. For a top-notch offensive line, I'd go with the accurate, efficient pocket passer though.

Well all 6 submitted teams so far have submitted a QB, and 4/6 are mobile QBs. The other 2 are balanced, meaning they're not strong in one area, they're jack of all trades. I'm waiting to see if a Pocket passer finds their way in. The teams being submitted are completely different than what I thought they'd be. It'll be interesting with how the season turns out. But it will be awhile before it starts. I have 6/8 teams. 2 teams have generated stats and teammates.
