DDR DANCE WARS Has struck the Apple Store by storm! on 1/24/13 Konami and BEMANI had released thier NEW installment to the DDR family. DDR Dance Wars is a Social media, Music Game where you have to, Like all other DDRs, Hit arrows to the chart of the music content, But there is NOW a Twist.
In THIS game, you can BATTLE with other people ONLINE, Build up Dance Crews, as well as Participate in Events that Konami Puts out at a chance for a ton of Free stuff!!
You DO need an internet connection to play this Game however, as EVERYTHING is posted online, Score based, and Record based. EVEN in single Player mode! So If you are confident that you can break some scores, and leave your rivals in the dust in DDR, now you can!
New Features in this Installment of the game Include the following
To play this game you need a GREE Acount. Getting one is Simple, and Free! When you boot up your game, It will ask you to log in, or sign up for a Gree Account. OR you can sign up with your Facebook Account, in which you will create a GREE account. Once youve done that, your facebook will be tied with your Gree Account!
The Game is a "FREEMIUM" Game. Essentially what that means is While the gameplay and online interaction is Free, Your "STAMINA" isnt. Konami has implemented a Stamina Counter on your account which diminishes every time you compete in Battles, Compete against Mission Challenges, and Events. This HOWEVER Does NOT affect your single "Free Play" Game Mode. You can play on that Mode to your hearts content!
Just Remember 1 THING. there are 2 FORMS OF CURRENCY IN THIS GAME. While one of them must be purchased with REAL money, the other can be Earned by Competing in Battles, Winning in Battles, and Helping your Crew!
DDRCOIN is Currency that you HAVE to buy
RP (Respect Points) is Currency you EARN by Completeing, Participating, and Communicating with your crew in battles!
Stamina takes 24 Hours to Recover once all your points have been depleted. You can however use DDRCOINs to Purchase Power Ups and Recovery items to Increase your Max Stamina or Recover some. DDRCOINs However DO require ACTUAL money to Buy! the Prices for DDR Coin are as stated below.
DDRCOIN is used to buy Score enhancements, Traps to go agaisnt your rivals, Recovery Items, and Powerups!
RESPECT POINTS can be used to upgrade your SKILL Which i will review Below! To upgrade costs RP, And the value increases as you upgrade, so be mindful!

STARDOM
This Skill will increase the amount of RESPECT POINTS You earn! If you need a Faster way to gain respect points, this is for you!
FAIR PLAY
See a Sticker you need to get unlock that NEW tune, but your rival has a Pesky trap that makes it hard to get? Use this skill to weaken the trap and give you a fighting chance!
STAYING POWER
Wanna Show you can Last longer than the other dancers? Then this is the skill for you! This skill reduces the amount of stamina that is used in battles against others! Keep on fighting!
POWER OF CREW
Show your Crew that you got thier back! this skill gives them an ATTACK bouns when they are in battles, and earns you a bit of respect per battle!
Skills can be used one at a Time, and Yes. you can Swap them out, and Level them all up as you so desire. as you level them up, YOU will level up too!

DANCE BATTLE
A Cutthroat Battle against your rival, with COLLECTIBLES at stake! In this mode, you and 3 other Crew members battle it out on the dance floor in hopes of Stealing your Rivals "Stickers" These Stickers Add NEW MUSIC to your Music List! The Higher you and your Crew members Level, the Higher your chances at a Victory! Get out there and Show them what your made of!
MISSION
Think your a Dancing Master, then Prove it by Taking the Mission Mode Challenges! In this New Mode, you will be put to the test in completing challenges thrown at you. Completing the challenges, and its Missions can unlock you some Bonus content and NEW MUSIC for your Music List! Lets see if you Have what it takes to be a DDR MASTER!!
DANCE CREW COOPERATION
Hey. even DDR Masters Need to have Crew Members! And We all know that Co-operation and Communication is Important, and In this mode THAT is key! Communicate and help your fellow Crew Members! Send them a Friendly message. Have a Friendly Dance off by issuing them a Practice battle! Or be thier Muscle by Guarding them While YOUR not playing! And yes. They CAN do the same with you! Who knows! you can earn yourself some Bonus Respect Points, which you can then use to buy Upgrades for yourself! Show them that Team Spirit!
EVENT BATTLE
Konami introduces their NEWEST online play, By offering their dancers and their rivals a Time to get together in harmony, and battle the Big bosses they throw at you in Time-Limited EVENT BATTLES! Get together with other dancers, and Go for the stars as you Help each other to take out the big bosses, while at the same time, competing for the leader board ranks! Complete the event battles to get yourself some sweet collectibles and Awesome Unlockables!
