Here!!So I know ya'll are wondering about the NEW DDR X3 thats coming out, Well... I have some GOOD NEWS! I HAVE the info to it! so.. For those that wanna know what DDR X3 will have here is the info!
DDR X3 Vs 2nd Mix will have the following things!
:::FEATURES:::
-2ndMIX Mode: This will allow players to play a FULL HD Version of DDR 2ndMIX, which will include ALL Licenses from the Game. To keep with the times, There will be newer features added to this Mode specificaly, such as e-AMUSEMENT Capabilities!
-Quick Play mode: This is something close to "Marathon Mode" From DDR X2. This mode allowed PASELI Users to use the Pay-Per-Song Method for the amount the arcade allowed in stages. For a while this mode was and still is the only way to access certain challenge charts in specific Songs.
-Target Score: Remember how you had to "play Songs in the game you didnt want to, SIMPLY to see the scores that you wanted to get past? well, with this mode, you dont need to. This will allow players to View Machine As well as e-Amuse records WITHOUT playing the ACTUAL song.
-BEMANI Title: A New Addition to the Sort Song wheel, in which the Game will sort songs in order from BEMANI game Appearances.
-DRILL COURSE has been removed. so you wont be seeing those.
- specific X3 Machines exist in which the Judgement of "STREAKED" Notes and its Quantity of Combos are placed Under the note strip, while the rest are place on top.
DDR X3 is also Supporting "e-AMUSEMENT GATE", which is a Community Website where players can form groups, Share thier scores, and ultimately interact with other players!!
ENJOY LEVEL:
In past iterations of DDR, Players would need to meet certain requiermenrs to fill up the "Enjoy level" meter. when the meter filled, The player leveled up. and as all the prior games, this required e-Amuse. This is back in DDR X3 vs 2ndMix. Most of the Enjoy Unlocks are tracks taken from DDR2010 (NA) and DDR II, as well as a few new songs.
EXTRA STAGE
The Extra Stage for DDR X3 will now be implemented a Different way. Remember the Stars you get from completing songs with an A or higher in the CS Version of DDR EXTREME? well, those are back, and will NOW be used towards your EXTRA Stage. here is how they work. Depending on the Grade you Get, will depend on how many stars you get. at the bottom of your results screen will be a slot with 9 Stars in it. if you manage to fill all 9 stars, You will Access the Extra Stage. Be forewarned. Using the 9 stars, WILL reset the bar, and therefor you will have to earn them back. here is the Grade scale
- AAA = 3 Stars
- AA = 2 Stars
- A to D = 1 Stars
- Course or Stage Failed = 0 Stars
Just note that this method for EXtra Stages is E-Amuse ONLY! The Extra Stage is "Amalgamation." (FOR E-AMUSE ONLY) The OMES or Encore Extra Stage Songs were ABLE to be accessed on a specific Date as the extra Stage, if the player can fufill a specific requirement using the Star System, with UNBELIEVABLE (Sparky Remix) Being Available on 1/25/12 and NEPHILIM DELTA on 4/25/12. As of 7/23/12 All the Extra Stage songs are NOW unlocked for normal play!
ENCORE EXTRA STAGE
The Requirement to access the OMES or Encore Extra Stage is the same as from DDR X2: which is Scoring a AA or Higher under the EXPERT difficulty on a SPECIFIC Song DURING your Extra Stage. Scoring an AA or Higher on "Amalgamation" will unlock "UNBELIEVABLE (Sparky Remix). After 2 Specified Dates, NEPHILIM DELTA and SILVER☆DREAM Became available. As of 7/23/12 ALL OMES Songs have been Unlocked.
EXTRA TOUR
This is NEW in the DDR world. EXTRA Tour is a New feature that was implemented on 5/12/12 and what it did was add NEW songs to your extra Stage. They Appeared in Specific Regions at first, and then moved to other regions every day. T
he First song to be introduced in this tour is tokyoEVOLVED, which appeared in Hokkaido and Okinawa Prefecture. it then moved South (Hokkaido) and North (Okinawa) until they linked up.
The 2nd Route Started on Mie Prefecture and Fukui Prefecture The Song that became newly available in this route, Was "osaka EVOLVED -毎度、おおきに！"
The 3rd Route was then initiated 5/19/2012 from Hokkaido and Okinawa Prefecture. The song on this route: New York EVOLVED.
the FINAL route was initiated on Hokkaido and Okinawa Prefecture Once again. This time, it was London EVOLVED.
One you played ALL the EXTRA tour songs At least one time, Making sure to AA or Higher on any or all of these Songs, You will then Unlock a NEW OMES Stage: "Tokoku EVOLVED".
As of 8/17/12 All songs are now available for Normal Play.
CROSSOVER DDR
on 8/2/12 A new event named "Crossover DDR" was initiated. For this event players unlocked 2ndMix Exclusive songs for PLay in X3 Mode. All the players would need to do, is Play the Charts of songs, to unlock them in X3 mode. Note that Basic, Difficult, and Expert Charts are the ONLY available charts in single player, (Basic or Difficult in Doubles).
The Beginner charts would be unlocked automatically once the player unlocked at least one of the MAIN difficulties while the Double Expert as well as Single and Double CHALLENGE Charts (which all songs will have) will unlock once the plater has unlocked ALL other charts.
In Crossover DDR 3 NEW Boss Songs can be opened in this event. Clearing all songs in "Normal Mode" of 2ndMix Mode will Unlock "TRIP MACHINE EVOLUTION" in the Extra Stage. Clearing ALL charts in "HARD Mode" will unlock "PARANOiA Revolution". Scoring a AA or Higher on any of these songs, on Expert, will unlock the Encore Extra Stage "LOVE IS THE POWER Re:born. BE WANRED: the 1-Life Batter in THIS Encore Extra Stage is UNIQUELY Made to Fail the player if they get a GREAT or Lower (Instead of a Good or Lower)
INTERNET RANKING
Like the previous releases, Internet Ranking will return. like the previous releases as well, it will use the courses available in the game, with the use of e-Amuse to upload the scores to the network. There are 5 Internet Rankings.
- INTERNET RANKING#1 - 2/8-22/12: Uses HYPER and vs X3
- INTERNET RANKING#2 - 2/29/12 - 3/14/12: Uses VOCAL and UPPER
- INTERNET RANKING#3 - 3/28/12 - 4/15/12: Uses TAG PLATINUM and vs 2ndMIX
- INTERNET RANKING#4 5/9-27/12: Uses RECOMMEND and BEMANI
- INTERNET RANKING#5 - 7/4-22/12: Uses EVOLVED and Revolution
DAILY SPECIAL
Konami Introduced a new event called "Daily Special" which started on 2/20/12. In this event, a new BEMANI crossover will be available Each day of the week (Mon to Fri) The Cycle of the Song will be done on NOON (JP UTC). Requires e-Amuse. The Songs are:
- SigSig
- message
- 天上の星 ～黎明記～ (Tenjou no Hoshi ~Reimeiki~)
- 繚乱ヒットチャート (Ryouran Hit Chart)
- 雫 (Shizuku)
Cycles of the song unlocking had been shuffled 3 times. 3/19, 4/16, and 5/14.
And Additional Event called "Weekend Special was initiated on 5/5/12. A Saturday and Sunday only event and it also cycled the same 5 songs. but instead of Days, it was in Hours. on 5/28/12 both events were ended, and All 5 songs are now available for regular play.
APPEND TRAVEL
This was an event that was initiated to promote another music based game by Konami called "jubeat copious APPEND". X3 is ONE of the BEMANI games that held this event. the event started 3/14/12. how it worked was players can collect "APPEND ENERGY" and then use this energy to buy items From the e-Amuse Gate. some of the items can Alter aspects of the game. Those items are:
Accessory - juBeat Mask
Item - Enjoy FULL Stage: This allowed the player to Pass a Stage, EVEN if the Dance guage Emptied.
Item - Enjoy level Booster: This made Leveling up in Enjoy Level become Much Easier.
Phew.. there you go.. Next Journal will be the SongList and such, so prepare for that!!
I know this is out already in Japan, here's just hoping they start releasing it around the US soon. I have a friend on the east coast that may be getting a copy of it to put on his DDR machine as an upgrade and he already has his own e-Amuse setup.
I've already been practicing through my minimaid to enable my computer to run off of my DDR cabinet. Updating my DDR sims for X3 as z-vanisher updates them. Practicing on Judge 6. I'm just hoping that there's not a big delay like there is with the X2 dedicab. God every song you have to hit so god awful early. I wish they would come out with upgrade kits cause the old style pads worked perfectly fine before they came with the DDR X and X2 pads. Those sensors are such junk here in the US. Any location I know with an X or X2 dedicab, their sensors keep needing to be replaced like all the time and the arrows are like less than half the thickness they used to be so they're more prone to breaking. Still looking forward to seeing what they have in stock for X3.
The e-Amuse is AC only (Arcade Cabinet). It was never introduced to home versions.
and i do get what you mean. According to what i found, and what i was told, The release of DDR X3 Vs 2ndMIX is Temporarily Suspended in the US and Europe
