Having just finished the game I can say I'm... kinda satisfied. Gameplay itself still feels a bit clunky, but I wasn't really playing the game for the combat anyway. Artwise, it's amazing, but I didn't expect less anyway. The story is quite good, but it just feels like there's so many interesting things going on that there's no time to go over any of it properly. One thing that kinda made it weaker for me is that I assumed things about the ending as soon as I knew something about the characters and that time travel and alternate dimensions were a plot point (which is to say, about the time trailers started showing up), and I actually guessed a good chunk of it. Still, the way it was handled was interesting, so I didn't ruin it for myself.
Oh, and the Lutece twins were amazing, definitely my fav characters in the game!

I haven't finished it yet, but yeah. ONLY complaint so far is the clunkiness, but every piece of art has flaws. Also the whole rift thing is neat, especially considering how it provides practical applications to the gameplay and story and doesn't seem like a tacked on gimmick. Video games, ebing what they are, still do suffer from the same thing movies and TV shows do, which is trying to fit a whole story into an allotted time frame.
