Evenings Ghostly Greetings
Dear Ghost
I see you there
Strolling down the evenings alley
Sneaky Ghost
I hear you there
You think yourself oh so clever. . . but I know better
Sly Ghost
You thought yourself all the better
Slipping in and out of hidden dreams
Little Ghost
With fur white as snow and soft as fleece
Trotting down the city street
I see you there, so kind and sweet
Yet something out of long lost dreams
And thus I greet you, you snow white beast
Walking on your humans leash
We say hello and then goodbye
As we go our separate ways
Assured that our meeting had
Been nothing but a long lost dream
Dear Ghost
I see you there
Strolling down the evenings alley
Sneaky Ghost
I hear you there
You think yourself oh so clever. . . but I know better
Sly Ghost
You thought yourself all the better
Slipping in and out of hidden dreams
Little Ghost
With fur white as snow and soft as fleece
Trotting down the city street
I see you there, so kind and sweet
Yet something out of long lost dreams
And thus I greet you, you snow white beast
Walking on your humans leash
We say hello and then goodbye
As we go our separate ways
Assured that our meeting had
Been nothing but a long lost dream
