Job... and Hirings and Firings...

So... Yesterday, I got fired from my job.
I had worked there for 3 years. In that 3 years. I had overslept for work twice. Yesterday being that second time. I was fired for oversleeping by 30 minutes.
So... As bad as that sucked, I got over it and applied at a few places. and got a call the same day to come in for testing.
I went in today and tested, interviewed, and got hired for a new job, making more than my last! and it sounds like a good company. I'll be doing call-center type technical support, but I can live with that. Fired on a Wednesday, start new job the next Monday. Not too bad...

My internet is 2 months past due
My electric is a month past due.
I have $14 in the bank.
I'll get my first check from the new job in around 3 weeks....

Missing rent is the worst possible bill to miss. I missed mine by like, two days once, and the bastards treated me like I'd raped baby bunnies in front of a bus full of nuns. And then they wouldn't take a check, or credit cards, or even cash. Only a money order or a certified check would do. My bank at the time was about six states away.
Yeah, I was hot.
