Well...
Good news and bad news.
Good news is I'm going to start working at a vet clinic again and get out of the hellhole of a callcenter I'm in now. Yay.
Bad news is, my HDD died last week, and I lost all my 3d work to date. D'oh! Got everything reinstalled but have to start from scratch on my models.
*sigh*

Get a backup HDD, damnit! Hitachi Ultrastars are best, and new ones in sealed factory packaging are available in 500 GB size via eBay for about $75. Mean Time Before Failure is about one million hours. A box with a power supply that will hold two of them is about $50. Your work is good, and it is worth protecting.
