Going to be making a fursuit soon~
And I need some tips and stuff :3
Mostly on head construction, such as shaving, placing fur, etc.
Tutorial links are good, same with just written help :D
I'll be working on it soon too!~
This will be a balaclava based head, with feet, arm sleeves, leg sleeves, and a tail of course.
Thank you!~

Make hash marks on your duck tape pattern, so you know where each piece fits together.
Label with piece is what, and draw arrows for which direction the fur should go, as well as what color is what. ex(muzzle Right, muzzle left, Muzzle top, eye brows. etc.)

Lay each piece on your material(fur in this case?) Making sure your arrows are facing the right direction.(Cut with a exacto or box cutter) NOT scissors.

I usually hand sew my pieces first, then go over it with a machine. But if your stitches are strong a machine isn't really needed.
Once they are all sewed together, you should basically have a skinned version of your head(gross but true).

Use the dot and smear method with the hot glue. Even it up, then glue it down!
Once done, you should be left with a fluff ball of fluffiness.

When Shaving, shave WITH the fur. Never against. A pet shaver is suggested.
Make sure your blade is even with the fur the whole time, so it goesnt end up choppy.

Also, if your base is foam. DON'T USE DUCK TAPE.
Use masking tape instead, duck tape tends to rip the foam/base apart.
By then, you should be DONE 8D
Just ask if you need anything else.
