I took a picture with flash to see and it's just lighter, and desaturated :( I'm pretty sure they color corrected the heck out of their image.

Can't you return the yard to them and say you want exactly that what's advertised or money back? D:

They are pretty strict on returns :( I think they are one of those places where they don't return for color issues.

You have the right to return it though, you haven't received the item that they listed which is totally bs. >~<
You should contact them that you have not received the color that they listed, otherwise if you paid with PayPal you can just put a claim on them or anything like that. D:

Yep, that's how all fur sites are. That is the standard color of the DF dark brown fur.
Most sites will let you order swatches, if you're not familiar with the particular shades DF fur comes in I definitely recommend swatches. The pictures are NEVER accurate :(

Sighs :( It was a huge disappointment. I have definitely learned my lesson though. I just didn't expect an oreo color, rather than a milk chocolate.. Live and learn I suppose!

That's really surprising that you had that issue with FabricEmpire. I purchased that EXACT same fabric color awhile ago for plushies and it came in the brown that the image showed. I believe I have fabric of that color left if you would like it. I don't remember exactly how much of the brown I have left though so it would greatly depend on what you're looking for.

Perhaps I missed it, but you might want to add to your post how big the fabric piece is, since you're trying to tell it.
